The Telangana High Court directed the State government to furnish the proceedings relating to the revision of the layout plan of the plots near Durgam Cheruvu of Raidurg village by the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation.
A bench of Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice G.M. Mohiuddin passed the direction after hearing a Public Interest Litigation questioning the e-auction of the plots by the TGIIC in the lands of survey no. 83/1 of Raidurg village. The petitioner Juvvadi Pranay Simha Rao, a private employee, contended that the area of the plots was part of ancient rock formations and a heritage precinct. The petitioner wanted said the area was declared as Rock Preserved area under various government orders.
The bench also sought to know from the government as to why the layout was revised and what prompted it to change the plot nos. to P1 and P2 from plot nos. 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13. The matter was adjourned to September 21 for next hearing.
