Passengers travelling through the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad have been advised to plan their commute in advance, factor in additional travel time and consider alternative transport options as cabbies and other gig workers have announced an indefinite strike in Hyderabad from Saturday (August 8, 2026).

Alternative transport options

“Passengers are encouraged to plan their commute in advance, factor in extra travel time and explore alternative transport options available at the airport including prepaid taxis, rentals and Pushpak airport liner. Hyderabad airport operations will continue as normal,” as per the advisory issued by the airport on Friday (August 7, 2026).
