MRPL refutes declaring any force-majeure on exports

Posted on March 5, 2026 By admin

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has not declared any force majeure on exports of crude oil amidst the widening conflict in West Asia, the refiner informed bourses in a filing Thursday.

“We hereby clarify that MRPL has not declared any ‘force majeure’ and is unaware about the mentioned news item and its source,” it stated.

According to news reports, the ONGC-subsidiary had told clients that it would not be able to receive amidst the escalating tensions in West Asia.

MRPL exports about 40% of their refined products.
