iQOO 15R Specs Confirmed Ahead Of India Launch In February

Posted on February 2, 2026 By admin

The iQOO 15R is set to launch in India later in February, with iQOO sharing several confirmed specifications and features ahead of the release. The smartphone is shaping up to be a high-performance device, particularly geared towards gaming and demanding tasks. The iQOO 15R is set to house multiple chips for enhanced performance, headlined by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The device will also house a big battery ideal for heavy usage.

iQOO 15R Launch Date

The company has confirmed that the iQOO 15R will release in India on Feb. 24. A dedicated microsite for the device is live on Amazon, confirming its availability through the platform.

iQOO 15R Specs Confirmed

At its core, the iQOO 15R is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It is paired with additional dedicated chips, including the Q2 supercomputing chip for enhanced gaming capabilities — such as supporting 144fps in BGMI — and a network enhancement chip that reduces latency during online sessions.

iQOO claims the 15R achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 3.5 million, surpassing the typical scores of other Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 phones (around 3.3 million), along with delivering improved CPU efficiency (up to 36% better) and NPU performance (up to 46% improvement) over the prior generation.

For gaming, the iQOO 15R supports 1.5K Game Super Resolution to improve visuals and motion. iQOO highlights segment-leading stability at 144fps in BGMI, promising minimal frame drops or lags to maintain responsive control during intense play.

The device will run OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, with iQOO committing four major Android OS updates alongside six years of security patches.

Design-wise, the iQOO 15R features smoother edges for improved handling. It includes a Dark Knight colour variant in a deep black finish along with a blue option.

The rear panel houses a square camera module with softened corners, similar to the iQOO 15. The iQOO 15R is expected to house dual rear cameras led by a 200MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide, paired likely with a 32MP front-facing camera.

Display expectations point to a 6.59-inch Amoled panel with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. A huge 7,600mAh battery supporting 100W wired fast charging is anticipated in the iQOO 15R. It is also tipped to get IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
