Hinduja Tech names Faiz Ahmad as CEO

Posted on October 6, 2026 By admin

Hinduja Tech Ltd., the mobility-focused engineering and R&D technology company, has appointed Faiz Ahmad as its Chief Executive Officer with effect from November 1, 2026.

Mr. Ahmad will succeed Kumar Prabhas, who will retire as CEO on October 31 after nine years at the helm, the company, a subsidiary of Ashok Leyland, said in a press release.

Mr. Ahmad has been with the broader Hinduja Group ecosystem for nearly two decades. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Vehicle Engineering & Development at Hinduja Tech.

During Mr. Prabhas’ tenure, the company said it expanded its international footprint, strengthened customer partnerships and completed acquisitions including DSD and Tecosim.

Dheeraj G. Hinduja, Chairman, Hinduja Group and Executive Chairman, Ashok Leyland, said Mr. Faiz had been an integral part of the company’s journey and embodied its values, customer focus and innovative spirit.

Mr. Ahmad said the company has a strong foundation, talented teams, trusted customer relationships and significant opportunities ahead.
