North Andhra get new tech-driven police command control room

Posted on June 29, 2026 By admin

A state-of-the-art ‘Police Command Control Room’ was inaugurated at the Visakha Range Police Office, marking a major step towards strengthening technology-driven policing across North Andhra.

The new Command Control Room, constructed with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds provided by NTPC Simhadri, was inaugurated jointly by Visakha Range Inspector General of Police Gopinath Jatti, along with Vizianagaram SP Damodar, Anakapalli SP Tuhin Sinha, Srikakulam SP Maheshwar Reddy and Marine SP K. Sravani.

Speaking on the occasion, IG Gopinath Jatti said that the Command Control Room would play a crucial role in monitoring law and order across the five districts under the Visakha Police Range, enabling better coordination and quicker response to policing challenges.

Anakapalli SP Tuhin Sinha said the advanced Command Control Room would help the police leverage technology more effectively for crime prevention, investigation and maintenance of law and order.

NTPC Simhadri Executive Director and Head of Project Ayaskanta Jana was present.
