315 successful space launches in 2025, finds Indian Space Situational Assessment Report

In 2025, eight Indian satellites were launched and four rocket bodies placed in orbit.

In 2025 there were 315 successful space launches with about 4,651 objects placed in orbit. According to the Indian Space Situational Assessment Report (ISSAR) for 2025 released on Wednesday, a maximum number of payloads were deployed during 2025.

The report stated that 4,651 objects were launched to orbits and 1,911 re-entered the atmosphere with a net annual growth of 74.5%.
