Techno Paints and Chemicals plans to file Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) for a ₹500 crore initial public offering (IPO) in 2026-27.

The process is expected to be completed in the same financial year, CMD Akuri Srinivas Reddy said on Saturday (January 10, 2026), announcing the company has roped in cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar as brand ambassador for three years.

Mr. Reddy said the company’s revenue in 2024-25 stood at ₹210 crore and is expected to touch ₹450 crore in the current fiscal. Techno Paints is targeting ₹2,000 crore revenue by 2029-30 on the back of immense growth potential, he added.

The company operates in eight States and plans to expand to Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh by the end of the year, besides foraying into the Middle East by 2026-27.

“We are looking forward to achieving bigger and greater things this year with expansion and IPO, and no one could have been a better ambassador or growth partner for us than Sachin,” he said.

Techno Paints had in 2023 announced appointment of film actor Mahesh Babu as the brand ambassador. He was the brand ambassador for two years.

The company, which is into decorative, industrial and specialty paints, has a research and development centre as well as a manufacturing plant in Hyderabad, Techno Paints said in a release.
