A video of Misbah-ul-Haq from a live discussion is going viral on social media for the player’s reaction. In the surfaced clip, the ex-Pakistan star was involved in a discussion of cricket and talks about legendary India player MS Dhoni‘s brilliance. Citing the example of the former India captain, Misbah said that Dhoni was such a player who would make such good use of part-time bowlers that some captains failed to use their pure bowlers like that. “Aapse behtar kon jaanta hoga ye (Who would know it better than you),” the anchor said quickly. To this, Misbah was left expressionless before continuing the discussion.

It was Dhoni’s masterstroke during the 2007 T20 World Cup final against Pakistan that played a crucial role in India’s victory in the game. Unfortunately for Misbah, he was at the receiving end of Dhoni’s brilliance.

The Dhoni-led Indian team beat Pakistan in the thrilling final in Johannesburg by five runs to win the T20 World Cup.

The match went down to the final over and Dhoni turned to the relatively unknown Joginder Sharma. The pacer went on to dismiss Misbah to win the match for India.

Dhoni, who retired from international cricket in August 2020, led India in 200 ODI matches, winning 110, losing 74. Five matches were tied while 11 failed to produce a result. He has a winning percentage of 55. Besides the world title in 2007, Dhoni-led India have also won ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 and ICC Champions Trophy 2013. It is worth noting that he is the only skipper to win all the trophies.
