The TANKER Foundation received a donation of ₹25 lakh from GRT Group as a part of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiative on Tuesday.
Chairman of GRT Group G. Rajendran, and managing directors G.R. Ananthapadmanabhan, G.R. Radhakrishnan, and Jayashree Vummidi handed over the donation during a special programme.
The company contributed a total of ₹8.5 crore to 15 NGOs working across various sectors. The support to TANKER will significantly enhance access to life-saving transplant and dialysis treatment for underprivileged patients battling kidney disease, a press release said. Latha A. Kumaraswami, managing trustee of TANKER Foundation, thanked the group for their support. Lakshmi Rao, trustee of the foundation, was also present.
