The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) plans to hold more than 20 meetings with stakeholders over the next three months to discuss the implementation of the Master Plan for Delhi-2047, it stated in an official statement on Sunday (August 23, 2026).

The meetings will involve MPs and MLAs, government agencies, industry bodies, architects and planners. Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), landowners, educational institutions and healthcare organisations will also participate.

The DDA, acting on the directions of the Lieutenant-Governor, will discuss major provisions of the master plan, including transit-oriented development, high-density corridors, the land pooling policy and low-density areas. Meetings with RWAs, group housing societies and cooperative housing societies will also cover housing and redevelopment.

Industry bodies and chambers will also be consulted on industrial development and the availability of land for industry. These include the Confederation of Indian Industry, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India and Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation.

Other meetings will focus on mobility and congestion, as well as the rejuvenation of the Yamuna and development of the blue-green network.

Heritage conservation and redevelopment of commercial areas will also be discussed. Meetings are planned on education and medical hubs in sub-cities such as Narela and Dwarka.

The DDA stated that the meetings would help translate the provisions of the Master Plan into projects and policies.
