The Singappen Special Force (SSF) attached to the Coimbatore District (Rural) Police helped a Class 6 student continue his schooling after his mother was unable to support his studies.
The force extended a helping hand to the boy who was left helpless and unable to continue his school education due to family circumstances.
According to the police, the boy from Kuniyamuthur area of Coimbatore was living with his parents and studying in Class 6 at a government school. The boy’s father forced his wife and son out of the house, allegedly due to a family dispute. The mother faced hardship as she could not take proper care his son and send him to school while she went out to work.
The mother approached SSF, seeking help for her son’s education and safety. Upon receiving her request, the SSF team inquired about the boy’s situation. The team helped the woman enrol her son in a residential school at Valparai. The mother expressed her gratitude to the force.
In July, the SSF team enrolled two children in the tribal residential school at Valparai on July 20 after their mother struggled to support their studies following the death of her husband. The force also arranged clothes and study materials for the siblings.
