The 15th edition of Amar Seva Sangam’s ‘Wings of Will’ get-together programme, which brings together persons treated for spinal cord injuries, was held recently at its campus in Ayikudi in Tenkasi district.

According to a press release, the programme brings together persons with spinal cord injuries who received rehabilitation and vocational training at Amar Seva Sangam. The programme aimed to address the rehabilitation, healthcare, and social needs while providing a platform for mutual support and encouragement.

The special gathering was conducted on August 1, 2, and 3 at the campus. A total of 147 beneficiaries along with their family members participated in the programme. Free accommodation, food and other arrangements were made for all three days. Free diagnostic scan services were also arranged for the participants.

An awareness rally on spinal cord injury was flagged off at Courtallam. The entire programme was conducted under the leadership of Padma Shri awardee S. Ramakrishnan, Founder-President of Amar Seva Sangam, and S. Sankara Raman, promoter co-chairman.
