A man narrowly escaped a fatal accident at Mani Nagar in Thattarmadam in Thoothukudi district, after a speeding car rammed a parked motorcycle, sending it hurtling forward in the small hours of Sunday.
A video circulating on social media showing a speeding car ramming a parked motorcycle in front of a shop, sending it hurtling forward and a man seated on a chair narrowly escaping being hit.
According to police, the car was travelling towards Thisayanvilai. In the accident, a man identified as N. Vignesh, 19, from Panakudi who was seated on a chair little ahead of the parked bike sustained injuries.
