The International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) ASEAN Congress 2026 was inaugurated at Saveetha University, Chennai.
One of the largest international scientific meetings in the implant dentistry, ICOI ASEAN Congress 2026 brings together over 700 delegates from across 18 countries for three days, according to a press release. ‘Crafting the Future: Human Artistry in a Digital Age’ was the theme of the event.
Thiyaneswaran Nesappan, scientific chairman of the congress, highlighted the need to merge technological advancements with clinical judgement and human values to shape the future of implant dentistry, the release said.
Five hundred dental professionals will be honoured with the ICOI fellowship, mastership and diplomate credentials at the congress. The program will have 20 internationally renowned speakers and there will be lectures, panel discussions and scientific sessions.
While Deepak Nallaswamy, pro-chancellor, Saveetha University, was the guest of honour, representing ICOI were Betty Palti, executive director, Rick Ferguson, president, Sunil Kumar Nettemu, director and membership chairman of India and ASEAN nations.
