Agartala will host the ‘Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026’ on Thursday (July 9, 2026) and Friday (July 10, 2026) to showcase the State’s immense investment opportunities. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said the event would not only help create job opportunities but also help enhance per capita income and the GSDP.

The Chief Minister on Sunday (July 5, 2026) inspected preparations and chaired a preparatory meeting at the International Fair Ground in Hafania, attended by Secretaries and numerous officers from the line departments. CM Saha asserted that the conclave held last year saw the signing of MoUs worth ₹30,000 crores.

“This year there is a possibility of getting investment proposals to the tune of ₹1 lakh crores. The concerned state departments are working to make this happen,” the Chief Minister told the meeting.

He expressed hope that the upcoming conclave would be a grand success in all respects, as the State had an opportunity to organise similar events. “It will serve as a significant platform to showcase the state’s immense investment potential to the world.”

Terming the conclave to be historic, he said: “We are fully committed to ensuring all necessary preparations.” He further said the state is dedicated to making this conclave a milestone in Tripura’s journey towards inclusive, sustainable and investment-led development.

Officials said some 500 investors, industrialists, entrepreneurs and policymakers from India and abroad will be attending the conclave. Departments will open some 20 exhibition stalls at the venue.
