TVS Motor June sales jump 47% to 5.9 lakh units compared to last year

TVS Motor Company on Thursday (July 2, 2026) reported a 47% year-on-year increase in total sales to 5,90,003 units in June 2026, compared with 4,02,001 units in the same month last year.

Total two-wheelers sales, including moped, registered a growth of 47% at 5,65,417 units in the previous month as against 3,85,698 units in June 2025, the company said in a statement.

Domestic two-wheeler sales in June stood at 4,11,014 units, registering a 46% growth from 2,81,012 units in the same month last year, the company said.

Motorcycles registered a growth of 42% during the reporting month with sales of 2,67,096 units as against 1,88,774 units in June 2025 while scooters sales jumped 53 % year-on-year at 2,47,950 in previous month as against 1,62,291 units in June 2025.

The company’s electric two-wheelers sales increased over three-fold to 48,537 units in June 2026 as against 14,400 units in June 2025, it said.

At the same time, total sales from international business spiked 47% at 1,72,355 units in the previous month as against 1,17,145 units in June 2025 with the company registering a 48% growth in the two-wheelers sales to 1,54,403 units as against 1,04,686 units in June 2025.

The company also sold 24,586 three-wheelers during the month, it said.

For the June quarter of the current financial year, TVS Motor said, it registered its highest ever quarterly sales of 16.31 Lakh units.

Two-wheelers registered a growth of 27% with sales of 15.64 Lakh units in the first quarter of FY27 as against 12.32 lakh unit in FY26 while three-wheelers registered a growth of 48% year-on-year with sales of 67,000 units in the previous quarter of the on-going fiscal, it said.

Total international business registered a growth of 33% with sales of 4.68 lakh units in Q1FY27 as against 3.52 lakh units in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, TVS Motor said.
