190 abandoned vehicles shifted to St. Thomas Mount police station premises

A total of 190 vehicles abandoned along roadsides within the S1 St. Thomas Mount police station limits were removed by the Greater Chennai Police and shifted to the police station premises. The vehicles were there for a prolonged period obstructing public movement and traffic. According to a press release, details of these vehicles have been uploaded on the official website of the Greater Chennai Corporation. Owners can approach the police station to claim their vehicles within 15 days from the date of the announcement. The vehicles that are still unclaimed after the stipulated time will be disposed of through an e-auction process in accordance with the procedures, the release added.
