Four persons found dead along railway tracks across city

Four persons were reportedly found dead along the railway tracks in various parts of the city on Sunday.

According to the police, railway employee Magimai Das, 58, was found dead along the railway tracks between Ennore and Kathivakkam.

Monu, 36, who is a resident of Uttar Pradesh, was found dead along the railway tracks between Nandiambakkam and Athipattu.

Another unidentified person was found dead near Gummidipoondi Railway Station, while Siva, 23, who is a resident of Uttar Pradesh, died after he fell from the Rapti Sagar Express train near the bridge across the Ennore Creek.

He was on his way from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh to Tiruppur seeking employment. The police are investigating.
