A massive fire broke out at Helmet Bazaar store in Hyderabad’s Ameerpet on Thursday (June 4, 2026), causing panic in the busy commercial stretch. So far, no injuries or casualties have been reported.

The fire originated in a helmet shop near Hyderabad Metro pillar number 1043 and quickly spread to adjoining buildings, intensifying concerns in the densely populated area.

Nine fire tenders, including those from Sanathnagar and Jubilee Hills fire stations, were immediately rushed to the spot, with firefighters continuing operations on a war footing to bring the blaze under control and prevent it from spreading further.

The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, officials said.
