Members of the Students Federation of India (SFI) on Thursday staged a protest outside the Head Post Office here condemning the NEET UG 2026 question paper leak and the subsequent cancellation of the examination.

The members said several irregularities were plaguing NEET examinations. They said NEET examinations continue to ruin the lives of students. It was shocking that incidents such as question paper leaks were still taking place, they said.

While the regulations were so strict that students were being asked to remove accessories, including earrings and chains, before being allowed to sit for the examination, despite the strict regulations such irregularities were still taking place, they said.

The protesters raised slogans and displayed placards against the NEET examinations. They were detained by the police.
