The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) on Saturday urged consumers to regulate the use of electricity during the evening peak hours, stating that consumption has risen beyond expectations this summer.

The State’s power transmission and distribution network is under stress owing to soaring consumption, and a few places at least are facing voltage issues, according to the power utility.
