The India Meteorological Department has issued a thunderstorm forecast in 19 Telangana districts for Sunday, March 29, 2026.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast in 19 Telangana districts for Sunday (March 29, 2026).

According to IMDs latest bulletin, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.

Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a partly cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city towards evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 38°C and 25°C respectively,” the bulletin said.
