Auto industry continues wholesale momentum in November: SIAM data

Passenger Vehicles (PV) segment recorded wholesales of 4.12 Lakh units in the domestic market, with a growth of 18.7% Year on Year (YoY), Two-Wheelers posted sales of 19.44 Lakh units, with a growth of 21.2% YoY and the Three-Wheeler segment registered wholesales of 72,000 units, growing by 21.3% over November of 2024, according to wholesales data released by Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) on Friday (December 12, 2025). 

Rajesh Menon, director general, SIAM, said, “Following the festive demand and support from the Government’s progressive GST 2.0 reforms, the Indian Auto Industry continued with the sales momentum in November 2025. Passenger Vehicles, Two-Wheelers and Three-Wheelers marked the highest ever sales of November in 2025.”

“Industry is optimistic that the continued supportive policy reforms and improved market sentiments, would continue this growth trajectory well into 2026,” he added. 

The total production of Passenger Vehicles, Three Wheelers, Two Wheelers, and Quadricycle in November 2025 was 29,43,456 units, SIAM said.
