A fire in a building on Tuesday (December 9, 2025) in a Indonesia’s capital killed at least 17 people, police said.

The fire broke out in the afternoon in a seven-storey building in central Jakarta, according to broadcaster Kompas TV, which reported the fire was later brought under control.
