The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation’s Tirunelveli Division has planned to operate sufficient number of buses from various parts of the four southern districts to Kulasekarapattinam to witness ‘Dasara’ celebrations.
In a statement, Managing Director of TNSTC, Tirunelveli Division, Selvam said special buses to Kulasekarapattinam will be operated from Tirunelveli, Tiruchendur, Thoothukudi, Kovilpatti, Kanniyakumari, Nagercoil, Udangudi and Thisaiyanvilai on October 19, 20 and 21 for the benefit of the devotees going to Sri Mutharamman Temple to offer prayers on ‘Dasara’.
Special buses will leave for Kulasekarapattinam from these places based on demand.
Moreover, reservation of tickets to far-off destinations from all these places has started for the benefit of the passengers returning to their workplaces after ‘Dasara’ celebrations, Mr. Selvam said.
