E. Karthik assumed charge as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Madurai North, on Thursday.
He replaces S. Madhivanan, who was transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Villupuram. A 2014-batch IPS Officer, Mr. Karthik had earlier served as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Madurai City.
