Science should be made accessible to Kannadigas in simple Kannada. Even today, there are no literary works related to medical science in Kannada. Therefore, young people should make an effort to convey the idea of science in Kannada to common people, said critic H.S. Raghavendra Rao.

He was speaking at the second and third-year convocation ceremony of Nrupatunga University in Bengaluru on Tuesday.

Around 18 students were awarded gold medals, and 700 undergraduate and 4,081 postgraduate students were awarded degrees.
