Rinku Singh Stunned As Fans Ask For Autograph On Forehead And Neck – Watch

Posted on March 4, 2024 By admin

The 17th edition of the Indian Premier League is just around the corner and Kolkata Knight Riders star batter Rinku Singh has started with his preparations. The aggressive middle-order batter grabbed everyone’s attention after smashing five sixes in an over by Yash Dayal against Gujarat Titans. He went on to give many match-winning performances for KKR, which eventually paved his way into the Indian team. Rinku made his T20I debut against Ireland and has played 15 games, so far.

Rinku has gained a huge popularity due to extraordinary style of cricket and humble nature. Recently, KKR posted a video on their Instagram, showing many fans jumping and excitedly meeting Rinku during his practice session.

In the video, many young fans were seen clicking photographs and taking autographs on neck and forehead from the 26-year-old batter.

In IPL 2023, Rinku played 14 matches and scored 474 run at a strike rate of 149.53. His tally also include four half-centuries.

In international cricket, he has played 15 T20Is and scored 356 runs with two half-centuries to his name. Apart from this, he has also played 2 matches in the ODI format, where he scored 55 runs.

Earlier, former South Africa captain AB de Villiers hailed Rinku, saying that the batter is a match-winner and his consistency is needed to win the games.

Talking about Rinku on his YouTube Channel, AB said, “Rinku is a fantastic player, a match-winner, and it is good to see him become consistent as well. You need to be a consistent player who is always trying to win games for your team.”

IPL 2024 will kick-start from March 22 with defending champions Chennai Super Kings taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opening match.

KKR will be squaring off against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their campaign opener on March 23 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
