CSK took to social media to post a special message for the supporters – “Requesting the Superfans to Stay back after the game! Something special coming your way!”. While most fans commented that the team will take a lap of honour as it is their final IPL 2024 league game at home. However, some speculated that it can be an announcement regarding MS Dhoni‘s future. This can be the final game for Dhoni in Chennai if he decides to retire from IPL after this season and CSK fail to reach the final that will be played in Chennai.
