Carrying Out Fresh Strikes On Hezbollah Targets In Lebanon, Says Israel Army

Posted on September 29, 2024 By admin

General view shows Beirut, amid ongoing hostilities between Hezbollah and Israeli forces

Jerusalem:

The Israeli military said it was carrying out fresh strikes Sunday targeting Hezbollah’s weapons storage facilities and infrastructure sites in Lebanon.

“Over the last few hours, IDF (military) fighter jets struck Hezbollah terror targets in Lebanon, including launchers directed toward Israeli territory, weapons storage facilities, and terrorist infrastructure sites,” the military said in a statement.

A Lebanese security also told AFP that Israel had conducted a fresh strike on Hezbollah’s southern Beirut bastion Sunday with AFP correspondents hearing a loud explosion and seeing smoke billowing from the area.
“Israel carried out an air strike on Beirut’s southern suburb,” said the official, requesting anonymity to discuss sensitive matters.
