Gujarat Titans vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru, IPL 2024: Predicted Playing XI Of Both Teams

Posted on April 28, 2024 By admin

Gujarat Titans (GT) will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in match 45 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. Led by Shubman Gill, Gujarat Titans will aim to bounce back after succumbing to a four-run defeat against Delhi Capitals (DC) in their last game. With four wins and five losses, the Titans are placed seventh in the IPL 2024 standings with eight points from nine matches. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bengaluru will head into the game after beating SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 35 runs in their previous outing.

Having registered just two wins in nine games, the Faf du Plessis-led RCB are languishing at the bottom of the IPL 2024 standings with four points.

Ahead of Sunday’s double-header, we look at the predicted XIs of both sides.

GT Predicted XI

Gujarat Titans’ wicketkeeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha showed glimpses of returning to form after he slammed 39 off just 25 balls against DC. Out of seven games, Saha has scored only 130 runs at a strike rate of 125 and will look to score big on Sunday.

Shubman Gill (captain)

GT captain Shubman Gill has led from the front, having scored 304 runs in nine matches at an average of 38 and a strike rate of 146.15. The Titans will once again rely on Gill to put on a good score on the board.

Sai Sudharsan

Left-handed batter Sai Sudharsan has been the leading run-scorer for GT this season so far. The 22-year-old has already accumulated 334 runs in nine games at an average of 37.11 and a strike rate of 128.95. He will aim to continue his scintillating form against RCB.
