Gold, Silver Price Today, Jan 30 — Check Prices In Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, And Other Cities

Posted on January 30, 2026 By admin

Silver prices on Friday breached the Rs 4 lakhs per kilogram-mark in the national capital, while gold hovered near fresh record high of Rs 1.83 lakhs per 10 grams, tracking a sharp rally in global markets amid rising geopolitical and economic uncertainty.

Silver extended gains for the fourth consecutive day surging 5.06%, to an all-time high, reports news agency PTI. Gold’s prices were boosted after US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent indicated that Trump could make an announcement “tomorrow morning” about who he will pick to be the next chair of the Federal Reserve.

The gold rate in India on Wednesday is Rs 1,70,480 while the silver rate is Rs 4,02,490, according the Bullions website.

Gold Rates Today

In Mumbai, the financial heart of the country, 24-carat gold is retailing at approximately Rs 1,70,170 per 10 grams. Kolkata follows a similar trend, with its gold rate reported at Rs 1,69,950. Both cities are ahead of the national capital, Delhi, where the 24-carat rate currently stands at Rs 1,69,880.

The southern markets continue to record the highest figures in the country. Chennai leads the metros with a peak rate of Rs 1,70,670, while Hyderabad and Bengaluru follow closely at Rs 1,70,440 and Rs 1,70,310 respectively, keeping the price gap between the southern hubs and the northern capital distinct.

Silver Rates Today

Silver’s rise is further amplified by its dual role in AI data centers and solar energy, coupled with tight physical supply. Here is how the silver rates are unfolding across major Indian hubs today: Mumbai is the epicenter of this price rally. Prices have surged to Rs 4,01,760 per kg. In the national capital, Delhi, silver is keeping pace with Mumbai, currently priced at Rs 4,01,060 per kg.

Chennai and Hyderabad are seeing silver trade at approximately Rs 4,02,920 and Rs 4,02,390 per kg, respectively. Bengaluru follows closely, with rates hovering around Rs 4,02,070 per kg. Kolkata is also witnessing a surge with silver currently trading at roughly Rs 3,86,420.

Gold Rates City-Wise

The following rates are as per 10 grams of gold.

Silver Rates City-Wise

  • Mumbai: Rs 4,01,760

  • Delhi: Rs 4,01,060

  • Bengaluru: Rs 4,02,070

  • Chennai: Rs 4,02,920

  • Hyderabad: Rs 4,02,390

  • Kolkata: Rs 4,01,220

Gold prices surged 1.3% to $5,447.18 an ounce as of 8:10 a.m. in Singapore, after a wild ride in the previous session where it plummeted 5.7% from a record high of $5,595.47 before closing slightly lower. This rebound comes amidst heightened geopolitical tensions and a shift away from sovereign bonds and currencies, fueling a record-breaking rally. Meanwhile, silver prices jumped 2.4% to $118.43. According to recent data, gold prices have been driven by safe-haven demand, with spot gold hitting an all-time high of $5,591.61 an ounce and silver reaching $119.34 per ounce earlier this week, reports Bloomberg.
