Preity Zinta Asked To Describe Rohit Sharma In 1 Word. Her Reply Wins Hearts

Preity Zinta Asked To Describe Rohit Sharma In 1 Word. Her Reply Wins Hearts

One of the finest batters in Indian cricket history, Rohit Sharma is a name that doesn’t need any introduction. However, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 hasn’t gone as planned for the Hitman. With Mumbai Indians all but out of the playoffs race, Rohit is staring at an early elimination of his team. A number of MI players have underperformed this campaign, and even Rohit hasn’t been able to lift the team’s spirits with his performances. While troubled times have undoubtedly encircled Rohit, he received a huge word of praise from Punjab Kings co-owner and Bollywood star Preity Zinta.

Asked by a fan to share one word on Rohit, Zinta called the Mumbai Indians and Team India star “a powerhouse of talent”.

Plumbing the depths of the points table with just 3 wins in 11 matches, the only direction Mumbai Indians can now go is climb up the standings when they take on Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday.

Considering the way their campaign has unfolded so far, getting things their way seems as good as impossible for Hardik Pandya‘s side as they have suffered defeats in eight of the 11 matches they have played so far this season. They have failed to stitch together a complete performance in most of their matches, losing games after excelling in one department of the match.

With six points from 11 matches, Mumbai Indians will hope to win their remaining three matches and salvage their pride even if other results do not go in their favour and help them make it to the Playoffs. Mumbai Indians are going into the match with four successive defeats and considering their up-and-down form, Hardik Pandya’s team will have to pull up their socks to restore some pride.
