David Warner Gives Million-Dollar Reaction To MS Dhoni’s New Look Ahead Of IPL 2024

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is just round the corner and once again, the focus is back on Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni. There were a lot of questions surrounding the former India wicket-keeper batter’s future in the competition but all of them have taken a backseat and fans are looking forward to watching ‘Thala’ in action for the five-time champions. In a picture posted by CSK on social media, Dhoni was seen sporting a red bandana with long hair and his new look ahead of the competition got an epic reaction from Australia and Delhi Capitals batter David Warner.

“Loving the new head band @Mahi,” wrote Warner on social media platform Instagram.

Meanwhile, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan opened up about who can replace Dhoni as the captain after his retirement and admitted that there have been ‘internal talks’ on the subject.

A couple of seasons ago, the Super Kings did try giving Ravindra Jadeja the team’s baton but the all-rounder couldn’t live up to the expectations, prompting the franchise to make a mid-season U-turn. CSK don’t want to take such drastic decisions in haste again.

“See, there have been internal talks. But, Mr. Srinivasan has made it very clear. Let’s not talk about captain and vice-captain appointments. Let’s leave it to the coach and the captain to decide. Let them decide and convey the information to me, and then I will convey it to you all. He has said that ‘the captain and the coach will decide and give us a directive, till then let’s all keep quiet’,” CSK CEO Viswanathan told S Badrinath in the latter’s YouTube show.
