Minister of Industries and Commerce T.G. Bharath Gupta on Thursday (November 5, 2026) attended the consecration ceremony (Pratishtha Mahotsavam) of the Sri Chenchulakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Kurnool and offered prayers to the deity.

Mr. Bharath participated in special rituals, including ‘abhishekam’, ‘mula mantra homam,’ ‘aarati,’ and ‘teertha puja.’

Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the resolve and perseverance of the organisers, and stated that it was their firm commitment that made the construction of such a magnificent temple possible. He expressed happiness that a temple of this stature has been constructed in Kurnool.

On behalf of the TGV Group, the Minister donated ₹10 lakh to the temple. He emphasised that the TGV Group has always been committed to supporting noble causes and spiritual service initiatives. He said that the creation of such a grand temple in Kurnool would remain a significant milestone in the city’s history.
