12-year-old boy missing in Krishnagiri

Posted on October 25, 2026 By admin

A 12-year-old boy who went to his tuition by walk has been missing in Krishnagiri district since Friday evening (October 23, 2026).

According to the police, T. Sanjay, a resident of Indian Bank Street at Singarapettai near Uthangarai in Krishnagiri district, is a Class VII student at a private school in Uthangarai. On Friday, he went to school and returned to home in the evening. Around 5 p.m., he went to his tuition centre at Periya Kadai Street in Singarapettai by walk. However, he did not return home and when his parents inquired with the tuition centre, they found that he did not reach the tuition.

Shocked by this, his parents started searching for him in various locations and, around 9 p.m., they lodged a complaint with the Singarapettai police. The police registered a case, verified the CCTV footage in the locality, and found the boy asking for a lift and getting on a two-wheeler with a person. The police are on the lookout for the two-wheeler to identify if he was kidnapped.
