As part of Dasara festivities, Women and Children Dasara sub committee has organised a unique ‘Cooking without Fire’ competition on October 13 from 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. at J.K. Ground.

Interested women above 18 years of age can register their name on or before October 12 before 6 p.m. Late entries will not allowed. Only the first 50 registered participants will be allowed to take part in the competition, according to a press statement here.

As per the rules of competition, participants must bring required items including ingredients to the venue of the competition. Bringing pre-cooked items, chopped vegetables or fruits is strictly not allowed and only on spot preparation is permitted.

Participants must cook the food in their allotted place within one hour of preparation time. Each participant must complete the task on their own, without taking assistance from others. If any participant is found receiving assistance, they will be disqualified for the competition. Judges decision is final, according to press note.
