Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday (October 7, 2026) offered special prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Uttarkashi to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public life.

The Uttarakhand BJP leader prayed for the PM’s good health, long life, and continued success. Mr. Modi’s 25-year public journey had been marked by dedication to national service, and public welfare and development, he said.

Mr. Dhami also expressed the hope that under Mr. Modi’s leadership, India would continue progressing towards becoming a developed nation. Seeking blessings for the PM from the sacred ‘Devbhoomi’ (land of gods), Uttarakhand, was a privilege, the Chief Minister said.
