CMC, T-Works sign MoU to develop tech solutions for urban civic challenges

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with T-Works to develop technology-driven solutions to address urban and municipal challenges.

The MoU will facilitate collaboration in innovation, prototyping and development of practical solutions for municipal requirements. The discussions focused on areas such as innovative street furniture, user-friendly public urinals, pothole repairs and road maintenance, mosquito and vector control, sanitation and other field-level civic requirements.

CMC Commissioner reviewed solutions being developed for water hyacinth management, high-rise firefighting, recyclable materials and liquid waste treatment, and discussed their potential application to address specific urban challenges in Cyberabad.

Under the partnership, civic challenges identified by CMC will be taken up for solution development through innovation and prototyping. The proposed approach involves identifying a problem, developing a prototype, testing it under real field conditions and scaling up solutions that demonstrate effective results.
