Intellect launches MSOCK, says it can enable end-to-end engineering without human coders

Intellect Design Arena has launched MSOCK, an AI-native engineering platform that founder and chairman Arun Jain said can enable complete end-to-end engineering without a human coder sitting through the process.

“We don’t need any human coders to be sitting there,” Mr. Jain said at the launch in Chennai. He said a system designer could do the coding using MSOCK and described the technology as enabling a coder to become a faster product manager or business designer.

Mr. Jain also said AI-led engineering could change the nature of India’s technology workforce. He warned that India “may not be needing 50 lakh programmers tomorrow” unless they reimagine their jobs.

Intellect’s MSOCK (Multidimensional Multilayer System of Connected Knowledge) is an enterprise knowledge infrastructure for financial services.

It is a platform that maps how a bank’s technology and business knowledge are connected, so AI can understand the bank well enough to help build or change its systems.

The company says MSOCK connects enterprise knowledge across business rules, processes, compliance, APIs, code and other systems, providing AI with the context needed to work on mission-critical applications.

Mr. Jain said Intellect sees MSOCK becoming a ₹500-2,000 crore business over the next two years, with ₹500 crore as the lower-end opportunity, ₹1,000 crore at a medium level and ₹2,000 crore if the product succeeds.

Intellect plans to monetise MSOCK through what Mr. Jain described as a “touch, use, subscribe” model. Under the company’s three-week challenge, a customer provides one application, following which Intellect creates a spatial knowledge map of the application. The customer can then use MSOCK for 30 days before subscribing to the platform.

Mr. Jain said the technology is already being used in multiple customer projects, distinguishing these from proof-of-concept projects.

Mr. Jain said Intellect is working with Anthropic and described Anthropic and OpenAI as part of the LLM layer of the AI stack.

The company is targeting banks and financial institutions, fintech companies, global capability centres (GCCs), capital-market firms and insurance companies.

Asked about the guardrails for deploying MSOCK in sensitive financial institutions, Mr. Jain said it would sit in a pre-production environment and be tested before moving to production. He said all enterprise knowledge would remain within MSOCK and that it would sit within a bank’s infrastructure rather than go to the cloud. “Only the reasoning will go to cloud,” he said.

Mr. Jain said MSOCK could reduce implementation time from 12 months to six months. He also said it could lower the cost of AI consumption, with token economics reduced by 70% and made it more predictable.

The launch is backed by Intellect’s long-term investment in research, Mr. Jain said, adding that the company has 1,200 research engineers, including 250 working on AI, and spends around ₹400-500 crore a year on R&D against revenue of about ₹3,000 crore.

Intellect plans a 20-country rollout for MSOCK. Mr. Jain identified the U.S. as the biggest market and said the company would focus on Canada, the U.K., Germany and France, as well as Singapore and Japan. He also identified the West Asia as a potential market.
