BeLa presents awards to teachers in Belagavi district

BeLa (Belagavi Ladies) presented awards to 130 teachers of Belagavi district.

At a ceremony at the Foundry Cluster, guests honoured the teachers selected out of 1,098 applicants. Bollywood actor Sudesh Berry and BeLa CEO Lakshmi Khilari presented the awards.

Ms. Khilari acknowledged the profound role teachers played in shaping her life and journey. “I lost my father at a young age. For me, this is not merely an award ceremony. It is an expression of gratitude. That is why BeLa wanted to honour teachers,” she said in a release.
