The Tamil Nadu government has appointed Ashish Chatterjee, currently on Central deputation, on his return as Principal Secretary/Managing Director of Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL).
A Government Order to this effect was issued by Chief Secretary M. Sai Kumar. According to the order, Mr. Chatterjee will replace M. A. Siddique, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance, who was holding additional charge as the Managing Director of Chennai Metro Rail Limited.
