Exnora International Foundation, in partnership with KONE Elevator India, recently completed the restoration of Keelkattalai Lake and the development of its eco park, turning the waterbody into a greener and more biodiverse space for the community.

The restoration involved de-weeding, dredging, strengthening of bunds, and installation of pathways, lighting, and safety infrastructure. Vetiver plantations, bird islands, and extensive tree plantation were also taken up to enhance the lake’s ecological value. The eco park includes spaces for children and senior citizens.

The project was inaugurated by KONE Elevator India managing director Amit Gossain, in the presence of Pallavaram MLA J. Kamatchi and Exnora representatives. KONE Chennai employees also volunteered to plant trees at the site, a press release said.
