Defence Security Corps to hold re-enrolment rally for retired EME personnel from August 1

The Defence Security Corps (DSC) will conduct a re-enrolment rally for retired personnel from the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) at the 1 EME Centre, Secunderabad, from August 1.

The rally is being organised to recruit eligible ex-servicemen as Sepoy (General Duty) and Sepoy Clerk (Staff Duties) in the Defence Security Corps.

According to the notification, ex-servicemen from the Corps of EME are eligible to apply within two years of their retirement. Candidates applying for the post of Sepoy (General Duty) should not be more than 46 years of age as on August 1, while those applying for Sepoy Clerk (Staff Duties) should not be more than 48 years of age.

The eligible trades include Armourer, Driver MT, Operator and Driver Recovery, and Clerk (Staff Duties). For the Clerk (Staff Duties) category, only ex-servicemen up to the rank of Havildar are eligible to apply.
