The 2026 edition of the Hyderabad Monsoon Races will begin from Monday, July 27 and will conclude on Friday, October 30, 2026, as per the official press release issued by Hyderabad Race Club (HRC).
The season will be conducted over 25 race days and carries an advertised prize money of approximately ₹14 crore, inclusive of trophy values, with the total stakes expected to rise further during the course of the meeting.
The highlight of the season will be the prestigious Race2win.com Deccan Derby (Gr. I), scheduled to be run on October 4, offering a guaranteed prize money of ₹6 million.
The calendar features several important races, including the K. Mahipathi Rao Memorial Golconda Juvenile Million on Aug. 16, followed by the Nizams Gold Cup (Gr. II) on Aug. 17.
Other major events include the Governors Cup on Aug. 23 and the Coromandel Gromor Deccan Fillies Championship Stakes on Aug. 30.
In September, the spotlight will be on the Y. Shanker Rao Memorial Deccan Colts Championship Stakes on Sep. 5 and the prestigious President of India Gold Cup (Gr. II) on Sep. 19.
The season will culminate with key fixtures such as the Race2win.com Deccan Derby (Gr. I) on Oct. 4 and the Golconda St. Leger (Gr. II) on Oct. 19.
Racing dates: July: 27 & 28; August: 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 & 31. September: 5, 7, 13, 14, 19, 21 & 28; October: 4, 5, 12, 13, 17, 19 & 30.
