Four-day textile and clothing expo, Bharat Tex 2026, concluded in New Delhi on Friday generating business enquiries worth more than $ 2.8 billion.

The event brought together 1,647 exhibitors and attracted 11,315 buyers, including 6,090 international buyers, catalysing around ₹14,300 crore of textile investment commitments with more than 30 Memoranda of Understanding signed by various states. Netherlands-based recycling technology company RE&UP announced investing ₹4,800 crore in India, an official statement said.

There were also specialised exposure visits for more than 250 entrepreneurs and weavers from “Aspirational Districts” across India. The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India’s pavilion showcased over 70 leading Indian brands, the release added.
