ECI revises Telangana SIR schedule; extends BLO’s house-to-house visit from July 24 to August 3

The schedule of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Telangana has been revised. File

The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Wednesday (July 15, 2026) revised the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) schedule for Telangana with the house-to-house BLO visit being extended from July 24 to August 3.

Similarly, the rationalisation and rearrangement of polling stations has been extended from July 24 to August 3. The draft publication of rolls has been extended to August 10 and the period of filing claims and objections will now be from August 10 to September 9. The notice phase and disposal of claims and objections is now from August 10 to October 10 and the final publication of rolls is scheduled for October 12.

House-to-house by BLOs June 25 – August 03, 2026
Rationalization of polling stations August 03, 2026
Publication of draft electoral roll August 10, 2026
Period of filing claims & objections August 10 to September 09, 2026
Notice phase/ disposal of claims & objections August 10 to October 08, 2026
Publication of final electoral roll October 12, 2026
