Sankara Nethralaya’s Department of Vitreoretinal Services is hosting its annual scientific meeting Retina Summit 008 from July 9 to 11, which is expected to bring nearly 200 participants from across the country.
The theme for this year’s summit is “Crisis Control,” with an emphasis on the prevention and management of medical and surgical complications in retinal practice.
According to a press release, the pre-conference programme on July 9 was for dedicated lectures and hands-on training for young vitreoretinal surgeons.
The main scientific sessions, scheduled for July 10 and 11, featured renowned experts from Sankara Nethralaya and leading eye hospitals across India. The summit’s keynote address was delivered by renowned vitreoretinal surgeon Steve Charles.
