Boy’s body found floating in Gambheeram Gedda reservoir

The body of a boy, believed to be about 15 years old, was found floating in the Gambheeram Gedda reservoir in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday.

According to police sources, preliminary investigations suggest that the boy may have gone to the reservoir with a group of friends to play in the water. Police suspect that he might have accidentally slipped into the reservoir and drowned. Fearing consequences, the other boys are alleged to have fled the spot without informing anyone about the incident.

The body of the boy was shifted to the Bheemunipatnam Government Hospital. A case was registered.
